Napa Valley is north of San Francisco and known for hundreds of hillside vineyards! As a wine lover, it was a dream to visit Napa in the Autumn. The peak times to visit Napa are August through October (Harvest season) or March through May (Spring season). After attending several harvest dinners, grape stomping, and countless tasting sessions, here are some of my top recommendations!

Aoki Sake Brewery Tour

Recently had the opportunity to attend an exclusive brewery tour at Aoki Sake Brewery (http://aokishuzou.co.jp/), a small Brewery in Ibaraki Prefecture about an hour away from Tokyo. Ms. Chisa Aoki, the 9th generation family member continuing the brewery business gave us the tour of the premises and brewery process. (FYI, the Japan Sake and Sochu Makers Association has a great step-by-step explanation of the basic sake brewing process.) It was fascinating to see the actual process from start with milling and steaming the rice to finish with bottling!

My previous post 「国際宇宙探査フォーラム　International Space Exploration Forum (Part １)」was on my experience as a Y-ISEF participant learning about the space industry and working with other talented young professionals to present our ideas in the Ideathon. In this post, I wish to share my experience as a Questioner for S-ISEF (ISEF for high school Students; http://s-isef.jpn.org/) and representing Singapore on the Y-ISEF Reception stage.

前のブログは「国際宇宙探査フォーラム　International Space Exploration Forum (Part １)」で、Y-ISEFの参加者としての経験について書きました。でも、私はISEFの色んなイベントの参加者であることに加えて、スピーカーや質問者としても関わっていました。Y-ISEFが終わった後、次世代を担う高校生を対象としたサイドイベント「S-ISEF」（ISEF for Students）にも「質問者」として誘っていただきました。
