A set of 8 ponds in Oshino Village in the Fuji Five Lake region fed by snow melt from the nearby Mt. Fuji that has filtered through porous layers of lava for over 80 years!

Since I arrived in Tokyo, I have hosted as emcee of the annual Spring Festival luncheon at the Singapore Embassy in Tokyo (organized by SAIJ) to share in Singapore’s tradition of Chinese New Year celebrations with fellow Singaporean’s and also the local Japanese community.
