Rachel was invited by The Science and Technology Office Tokyo, Embassy of Switzerland in Japan to an event on the topic of “Space-Based Solar Power (SBSP): Towards a Sustainable Energy Future”. This event aims at highlighting Swiss-Japanese cooperation in the field of SBSP in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), showcasing progress in this important field.
Rachel met with Dr. Andreas Baum, Ambassador of the Embassy of Switzerland in Japan, and distinguished speakers and guests at the event.
