Rachel selected as a youth leader by the ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation

Rachel was selected by the ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation as one of 89 youth leaders and changemakers in the second cohort of the eMpowering Youth Across ASEAN (EYAA) Programme.

Rachel will work together with her team to develop and implement community projects with the Global Peace Foundation in the Philippines to deliver tangible long-term social and economic impact to a village in Nueva Ecija.

Prior to the undertaking of the community projects, all selected youth volunteers will undergo a regional orientation and capacity building workshop to receive training on how to develop project plans that cover a broad range of developmental issues:

  • Design thinking
  • Organisational and financial management
  • Impact measurement and reporting
  • Public campaign and communications
  • Sustainability
