Recently, I went with a big group of 20 friends to try rafting down the Okutama river! Although rafting is not exactly the most popular activity associated with Autumn, it was so much fun to try this activity in the Tokyo Metropolitan area for the first time!

Although visiting Sapporo is arguably the most popular for first-time visitors to Hokkaido, I wanted to explore the much less traveled Eastern Hokkaido, famous locally for its three volcanic lakes, Lake Akan, Lake Mashu, Lake Kussharo, and Mt. 最近、兎カフェやフクロウカフェ OWL CAFE など、様々な動物と触れ合えるカフェが人気ですが、今度は「ハリネズミカフェ」のお話です。世界初と言われる, 六本木で「HARRY」という小さなお店は、その名のとおりハリネズミと触れ合うことができるカフェです。
最近、初めて横浜市中区にある日本庭園「三渓園」に行ってきました。三溪園は、製糸、生糸貿易で財を成した実業家・原三溪が明治39年（1906）に開園した敷地面積18万平方メートルの広大な日本庭園です。結構古くて、大きいですね。東京ドーム4個分の広大な敷地（175,000m2に及ぶ園内）には京都や鎌倉などから集められた歴史的建造物17棟が自然豊かな園内にたくみに配置されています。園内にある臨春閣や旧燈明寺三重塔などの10棟は、重要文化財に指定されています。そして、横浜市指定有形文化財に指定された3棟もあります。
