As Singapore celebrates its 60th birthday, I’ve found myself reflecting deeply on what it means to be Singaporean – especially while living abroad in Japan. From visiting the stunning Dream Sphere Singapore Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, to meeting Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong during his visit to Japan, and joining the overseas community for SG60 celebrations, this milestone year has been filled with moments that reminded me of home, belonging, and pride.

In this post, I share my experiences of celebrating SG60 in Japan – the beauty of the Singapore Pavilion, the inspiration of our leaders, and the warmth of the Singaporean community here. More than just a commemoration, SG60 is a chance to look forward: to imagine the next 60 years of Singapore’s journey, and to reaffirm how each of us, wherever we are, carries a piece of our “little red dot” with us.

シンガポールが建国60周年を迎えた今年、海外に暮らす一人のシンガポール人として、改めて「シンガポール人であること」の意味を深く考える機会となりました。

大阪・関西万博2025のシンガポールパビリオン「ドリーム・スフィア」を訪れたり、来日されたリー・シェンロン上級大臣（元首相）とお会いしたり、日本にいるシンガポール人コミュニティとSG60を祝ったり―この一年は、「故郷」「つながり」「誇り」を改めて感じる瞬間に満ちていました。

この記事では、日本で迎えたSG60の体験を通じて感じたことを綴っています。美しく象徴的なシンガポールパビリオン、リーダーたちからの言葉、そして日本に暮らすシンガポール人同士の温かな交流。SG60は、これまでの歩みを振り返るだけでなく、これからの60年をどう描いていくかを考える節目でもあります。たとえ世界のどこにいても、私たちはそれぞれの心の中に「小さな赤い点」（Little Red Dot）を大切に抱き続けているのです。

This Fall has been a deeply meaningful one for me. Singapore turned 60, and although I’m far away from home, I felt closer than ever to my roots.

この秋は、私にとって本当に意味深い季節になりました。シンガポールが建国60周年を迎えた今、母国から離れて暮らしているにもかかわらず、これまでになく自分のルーツに近づいたように感じています。

From the Singapore Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, to meeting Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong during his visit to Japan, and joining fellow overseas Singaporeans for SG60 celebrations, I’ve had so many opportunities to reflect on what being Singaporean means to me and how that identity continues to shape my journey here in Japan.

大阪・関西万博のシンガポールパビリオン「ドリーム・スフィア」の訪問や、リー・シェンロン上級大臣（元首相）の来日中にお会いする機会、そして在日シンガポール人の仲間たちと一緒にSG60を祝ったこと—そのすべてが、「シンガポール人であるとはどういうことか」、そしてそのアイデンティティがいかに日本での私の人生を形づくっているかを、改めて深く考える時間となりました。

60 Years of Singapore: A Nation’s Journey
シンガポール建国60年の歩み：ひとつの国の旅路

Growing up, I often heard stories about how Singapore had no natural resources, limited land, and an uncertain future at independence. Yet, our founding leaders and people believed in something bigger: the idea that through resilience, education, unity, and innovation, we could build not just a functioning country, but a thriving society.

子どもの頃、私はよく両親から建国当時のシンガポールの話を聞きました。独立を果たしたばかりの当時、シンガポールには天然資源がなく、土地も限られ、将来は不透明でした。それでも、初代の指導者たちと国民は、より大きな理想を信じていました。たとえ小さな国でも、「粘り強さ」「教育」「団結」、そして「革新の精神」によって、ただ機能する国家ではなく、豊かで活気ある社会を築くことができる、という信念です。

Now, 60 years later, Singapore is recognized globally for its stability, innovation, and ability to reinvent itself. Whenever I share about Singapore here in Japan, whether in professional settings or casual conversations, I see how others admire this spirit. And it always makes me proud.

それから60年。シンガポールは、安定性、イノベーション、そして時代に応じて自らを再発明する力によって、世界から高く評価されています。日本で仕事の場や日常の会話の中でシンガポールのことを話すたびに、多くの人がその精神に感銘を受けてくださるのを感じ、いつも誇らしい気持ちになります。

For me, SG60 is not only about celebrating how far we’ve come, but also about asking: how do we continue dreaming, building, and contributing in the years ahead?

私にとってSG60は、これまでの歩みを祝うだけではなく、「これからの未来に向けて、私たちはどんな夢を描き、どのように築き、どんな形で貢献していけるのか」を問いかける節目でもあります。

One of the highlights of SG60 for me was the Singapore Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka : The Dream Sphere.

SG60の中でも特に印象に残っているのが、大阪・関西万博2025のシンガポールパビリオン「The Dream Sphere（ドリーム・スフィア）」です。

Walking up to it, I was struck by how beautiful and symbolic it was: a shimmering 17-metre sphere, covered with 17,000 recycled red discs, each one unique. To me, it felt like a metaphor for Singapore itself – many individuals, many stories, bound together to create something greater than the sum of its parts.

目の前に現れた瞬間、その美しさと象徴性に心を奪われました。直径17メートルの球体は、17,000枚の再生素材による赤いディスクで覆われ、それぞれが少しずつ異なる形や質感を持っています。私にはそれが、まるでシンガポールそのものを表しているように感じられました。多様な人々と物語が重なり合い、互いに支え合いながら、ひとつの大きな輝きを生み出している、そんなメッセージが込められているようでした。

Inside, the pavilion was immersive, creative, and inspiring. It wasn’t just about showcasing achievements, but about imagining futures: sustainability, inclusion, innovation. Standing there, I felt both nostalgic and hopeful. Nostalgic for the Singapore I grew up in, hopeful for the Singapore that will continue to evolve – one that is bold enough to dream, and resilient enough to make those dreams a reality.

館内は、没入感にあふれ、創造的で、何よりインスピレーションを与えてくれる空間でした。単なる過去の成果を誇示する場ではなく、「これからの未来」を想像し、共有するための場所でした。テーマは、持続可能性、包摂性、そして革新です。その場に立ちながら、私は懐かしさと希望の入り混じった感情に包まれました。子どもの頃のシンガポールを思い出して胸が熱くなる一方で、これからも変化と挑戦を続け、夢を描き、そしてそれを実現していくシンガポールへの希望が強く湧いてきました。

Another SG60 moment I will always remember was the chance to meet Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong during his visit to Japan.

もう一つ、忘れられないSG60の思い出は、日本訪問中のリー・シェンロン上級大臣にお会いする機会をいただいたことです。

He was in Osaka for the National Day celebrations at Expo and also met with Japanese leaders in Tokyo. Hearing him speak about Singapore-Japan relations and about how overseas Singaporeans remain a vital part of our nation’s fabric reminded me of how connected we still are, even far away.

リー氏は大阪万博でのシンガポールのナショナルデー記念行事に出席されたほか、東京では日本の政府関係者とも会談を行われました。その際にお話を伺う中で、彼が語ったシンガポールと日本の強固な関係、そして海外に暮らすシンガポール人が国家の大切な一部であることというメッセージが、心に深く響きました。離れて暮らしていても、私たちは決して切り離された存在ではない。むしろ、世界各地で活動するシンガポール人一人ひとりが、国の物語を広げていく大切な架け橋なのだ―そんな思いを改めて感じた瞬間でした。

There was something special about celebrating SG60 not just with fellow Singaporeans in Japan, but in the presence of a leader who has guided Singapore through so much. It made the milestone feel even more personal.

日本に住むシンガポール人の仲間たちと共にこの節目を祝うだけでなく、国を長年導いてきたリーダーのもとで祝えたことは、何より特別で、心に残る経験でした。SG60という節目が、ぐっと「自分ごと」として感じられた瞬間でもありました。

Community & Belonging in Japan
日本で感じるコミュニティとつながり

Living overseas, I’ve often wondered: how do you stay connected to home when you’re not physically there? For me, the answer has been the community.

海外に暮らしていると、ふと考えることがあります。「離れていても、どうやって“ふるさと”とつながり続けるのか？」私にとって、その答えは―コミュニティ（仲間）の存在でした。

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of joining and helping organize many Singapore Embassy and community events in Japan:

• International Women’s Day in Tokyo earlier this year, where I shared thoughts on womanhood, leadership, and cross-cultural identity.
• Singapore Innovation Night, which brought together entrepreneurs and innovators to showcase the creative spirit of Singaporeans abroad.
• Past occasions such as hosting the Harvard Club of Japan event in collaboration with EDB and SGN, or attending embassy receptions for National Day, and even meeting Singapore’s Speaker of Parliament, Deputy Prime Minister, and other leaders visiting Japan.

これまで日本で暮らす中で、私はシンガポール大使館やシンガポール人コミュニティとともに、さまざまなイベントに関わる機会に恵まれてきました。

• 今年初めの東京での国際女性デーイベントでは、「女性としての生き方、リーダーシップ、異文化の中でのアイデンティティ」についてお話ししました。
• Singapore Innovation Nightでは、起業家やイノベーターが集まり、海外で活躍するシンガポール人の創造的な精神を共有しました。
• これまでにも、EDB（シンガポール経済開発庁）やSGN（Singapore Global Network）と共催したハーバードクラブ・オブ・ジャパンのイベントを主催したり、大使館主催のナショナルデーレセプションに出席したり、さらには国会議長、副首相、その他の政府要人との交流の機会もありました。

Each of these moments has been a reminder that even overseas, we carry Singapore with us – in how we connect, how we collaborate, and how we share our stories with the world.

こうした一つひとつの出来事が、私に改めて教えてくれました。たとえ海外にいても、私たちはシンガポールそのものを心の中に持ち続けているということ。それは、人とのつながり方に、協働のあり方に、そして自分たちの物語を世界にどう伝えていくかという姿勢に、自然と表れています。

What SG60 Means to Me
私にとってのSG60

This year, SG60 feels especially poignant. For me, it means:

1. Home is wherever we carry it – Even in Tokyo or Osaka, celebrating SG60 felt like being at home. Because home isn’t just geography; it’s the people, the stories, the values we hold.
2. We are part of Singapore’s journey – The diaspora isn’t just watching from the sidelines. We can contribute by building bridges, fostering exchanges, and sharing what makes Singapore special.
3. Dreaming forward – Just like the Dream Sphere, SG60 is about looking ahead. What dreams do we hold for Singapore’s next 60 years? For me, I hope for a Singapore that remains open, innovative, and compassionate and one where overseas Singaporeans continue to feel included and valued.

今年のSG60は、私にとってこれまで以上に深い意味を持つ節目となりました。
振り返ってみると、SG60が象徴するのは次の3つの思いです。

1. 「故郷」は、心に宿るもの
   東京でも大阪でも、SG60を祝う時間はまるでシンガポールにいるような温かさに包まれていました。なぜなら、「故郷」とは地理的な場所ではなく、共に笑い、語り合い、価値を共有する人々や物語そのものだからです。
2. 私たちはシンガポールの旅の一部
   海外に暮らす私たちは、決して「観客」ではありません。国の歩みに関わる存在として、橋を架け、交流を育み、シンガポールの魅力を世界に伝えることができます。小さな一歩でも、それが未来へと続く道を形づくっていくのだと信じています。
3. 未来への夢を描くこと
   「ドリーム・スフィア」のように、SG60はこれからの未来を見据える節目でもあります。次の60年、私が願うのは―シンガポールがこれからも開かれた社会であり続け、革新を恐れず、思いやりにあふれる国であること。そして、海外で暮らすシンガポール人がいつまでもつながりを感じ、誇りを持てる場所であることです。

Looking Ahead
これからの未来へ

Next year, 2026, marks 60 years of diplomatic ties between Singapore and Japan. I’m excited to see how these two nations, both close to my heart, will continue to collaborate, inspire, and grow together.

来年、2026年はシンガポールと日本の国交樹立60周年という記念すべき年を迎えます。
私の人生にとっても大切なこの二つの国が、これからも互いに学び合い、刺激し合いながら、新たな可能性を築いていく姿を見られることをとても楽しみにしています。

As for me, I feel grateful: to be Singaporean, to be part of the overseas community here in Japan, and to celebrate this milestone with so many others who share the same pride and love for our tiny red dot.

そして何より、私は今、心から感謝しています。シンガポール人として生まれたこと。日本という第二の故郷で、海外に暮らす仲間たちと共にシンガポールへの愛と誇りを分かち合えること。そしてこのSG60という節目を、多くの仲間とともに祝えたことに。

Happy 60th birthday, Singapore. May we continue to dream big, and may those dreams always take shape.

During my recent trip to Thailand, I had the privilege of joining a fireside chat with Khun Kirit Shah, Chairman of GP Group, together with fellow Harvard alumni in Bangkok. It was an intimate gathering, yet one filled with wisdom, laughter, and thought-provoking stories from a man who has spent more than five decades building one of Thailand’s most respected business groups.

先日のタイ訪問の際、私は GPグループ会長のキリット・シャー氏 と、バンコクでのハーバード同窓生の集まりでファイヤーサイドチャットに参加する機会をいただきました。小規模で親密な会でしたが、そこには知恵、笑い、そしてタイを代表するビジネスグループを50年以上にわたり築き上げてきた人物から語られる、数々の示唆に富んだストーリーが溢れていました。

Hearing Khun Kirit reflect on how he transformed his family’s modest grain trading business into a diversified conglomerate spanning shipping, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, aviation, and technology was nothing short of inspiring.

キリット氏が、いかにして家族が営んでいた穀物取引の小さな事業を、海運・製薬・ホスピタリティ・航空・テクノロジーにわたる多角的なコングロマリットへと成長させてきたかを振り返る姿は、本当に心を打つものでした。

On Seizing New Frontiers
新たなフロンティアを切り開くことについて

What struck me most was his philosophy toward entrepreneurship. As a young man, Khun Kirit spotted opportunities in the Arabian Gulf at a time when few others dared to look there. Rather than waiting, he acted – leveraging both conviction and foresight to open new markets.

特に印象的だったのは、起業家精神に対する彼の哲学です。若い頃、彼はまだ誰も注目していなかったアラビア湾岸地域にビジネスチャンスを見いだしました。待つのではなく、自ら動き出し、信念と先見性を武器に新たな市場を切り拓いたのです。

His reflections reminded me that entrepreneurship isn’t about chasing every opportunity; it’s about recognizing the right ones and having the courage to act before the path is fully clear. Equally important, it’s about taking action without getting paralyzed by overthinking.

彼の言葉から、起業とはあらゆる機会を追いかけることではなく、「正しい機会」を見極め、道が完全に見えていなくても勇気を持って行動することなのだと気づかされました。そして同時に、考えすぎて動けなくなるのではなく、行動に移すことの大切さを強調されていました。

This resonates with my own journey at SeiRogai. In an ever-changing global landscape, it’s easy to spend too long preparing, analyzing, and weighing every possible risk and reward, but sometimes opportunities slip away while we’re still preparing. Khun Kirit’s advice was a powerful reminder of the need to balance thoughtful analysis with decisive action and to trust instinct when the moment calls for it.

これは、私自身が SeiRogai を築いていく上で強く共鳴する考えです。グローバルな環境が常に変化する中で、私たちはつい長い時間をかけて準備や分析をし、リスクとリターンを徹底的に検討しがちです。しかし、その間にチャンスが逃げてしまうこともあります。キリット氏のアドバイスは、慎重な分析と決断力ある行動のバランスを取り、時には直感を信じて動くことの重要性を改めて思い出させてくれました。

On Legacy and Values
レガシーと価値観について

Another theme that deeply resonated with me was Khun Kirit’s commitment to family legacy. Despite GP Group’s global expansion, he emphasized that its foundation rests on the values passed down through generations: trust, resilience, and long-term stewardship. For him, growth should never come at the cost of continuity and purpose.

もう一つ心に深く響いたのは、家族のレガシーに対する彼のこだわりでした。GPグループがグローバルに拡大する中でも、その土台には世代を超えて受け継がれる 信頼・レジリエンス・長期的視点に基づく経営 という価値観があると彼は強調していました。彼にとって、成長は決して継続性や目的を犠牲にしてまで追い求めるものではないのです。

“Sometimes opportunities slip away while we’re still preparing. The key is balancing thoughtful analysis with decisive action. Growth should never come at the cost of continuity and purpose.”
「準備している間にチャンスは逃げてしまうこともある。大切なのは、慎重な分析と果断な行動のバランスを取ること。そして、成長は決して継続性や目的を犠牲にしてはならない。」

This really struck a chord. At SeiRogai, I often reflect on the kind of legacy I want to create, not just for myself, but for the people, partners, and communities we work with. Innovation and expansion are vital, but what truly endures are the relationships we nurture, the principles we uphold, and the positive impact we leave behind.

この言葉は私に強く響きました。SeiRogaiでも、私は常にどんなレガシーを築きたいのかを考えています。それは自分自身のためだけでなく、共に働く人々、パートナー、そして関わるコミュニティのためでもあります。イノベーションや拡大はもちろん重要ですが、本当に残るのは人との関係、守り抜く価値観、そして社会に残すポジティブな影響 なのだと再認識しました。

Looking Ahead
これからに向けて

Walking away from the conversation, I felt both energized and grounded. Energized, because Khun Kirit’s story is proof that with vision and courage, even the boldest frontiers can be reached. Grounded, because it reaffirmed the importance of leading with values and building for the long term.

As SeiRogai continues to grow, I hope to carry forward these lessons – to keep an entrepreneurial spirit alive while also cultivating something lasting and meaningful.

I’m grateful for the chance to learn from leaders like Khun Kirit, and for the reminder that entrepreneurship is not only about ambition – it is also about legacy.

この対話を終えて感じたのは、大きな活力と同時に揺るぎない確信を得ました。活力は、キリット氏の歩みが、ビジョンと勇気さえあれば最も大胆なフロンティアにさえ到達できるという証明であるからです。確信とは、価値観を持ってリーダーシップを発揮し、長期的に築き上げることの大切さを改めて感じられたからです。

SeiRogaiの成長にあたり、私はこの学びを活かしていきたいと強く思います。常に起業家精神を持ちながらも、長期的に意義あるものを育み残していくこと。

このような素晴らしいリーダーから直接学べる機会に心から感謝しています。

そして改めて、起業とは野心だけではなく、レガシーでもある ということを実感しました。

It was inspiring to facilitate discussions that highlighted the diverse experiences of Singaporean women making an impact across global industries, reinforcing the importance of community and collaboration.

シンガポール・グローバル・ネットワークが東京で初めて開催した国際女性デーイベントにて、パネルディスカッションの司会およびモデレーターを務めるという貴重な機会をいただきました。リーダーシップ、レジリエンス（逆境への対応力）、そして異文化間のイノベーションについて、各分野を代表するリーダーの皆様が貴重な知見を共有してくださいました。グローバルな業界で活躍するシンガポール出身の女性たちの多様な経験に光を当てるディスカッションを進行できたことは大変刺激的であり、コミュニティと協働の重要性を改めて実感する場となりました。

Earlier this March, I had the honor of hosting and moderating the Singapore Global Network’s inaugural International Women’s Day event in Tokyo. The evening brought together an inspiring community of Singaporean women leaders and global changemakers, all united by the theme: “From Singapore to the World: Women Driving Change Across Borders.”

今年3月初旬、シンガポール・グローバル・ネットワーク主催による東京での初の国際女性デーイベントにて、司会およびモデレーターを務める光栄な機会をいただきました。
当日は「From Singapore to the World: Women Driving Change Across Borders（シンガポールから世界へ：国境を越えて変革を牽引する女性たち）」をテーマに、シンガポール出身の女性リーダーやグローバルに活躍する変革者たちが一堂に会し、刺激に満ちたコミュニティが築かれました。

This event resonated deeply with me, both personally and professionally. As someone who has lived, studied, and worked across the U.S., Singapore, Japan, and South Korea, I am continually reminded that cross-cultural understanding and leadership are vital for driving sustainable change in today’s interconnected world.

Welcoming guests in both English and Japanese, I aimed to set a tone of inclusivity and global engagement. Language has always served as a bridge in my own journey—whether navigating policy discussions in Seoul, pitching investment deals in Tokyo, or building SeiRogai’s media and consultancy ventures across Asia.

The evening was opened with a keynote address by Ms. Li Lin Liew, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Tokyo, whose remarks underscored the resilience and ingenuity of Singaporeans abroad. Her words reinforced my belief that our collective experiences across borders enrich not only our personal growth but also our ability to lead meaningfully.

Moderating a distinguished panel of women leaders—Sandra Teh (AWS), Dr. Aw Wanping (TokudAw / Keio University), Ciel Liu (Phoenix Satellite TV), and Sophie Biswas (PEEL Lab)—was a truly energizing experience.

Each panelist brought unique perspectives shaped by diverse industries, yet common themes emerged: the importance of adaptability, perseverance, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Drawing on my own experiences—from private equity in Tokyo to founding SeiRogai, Inc.—I also had the opportunity to share some reflections on the role of multicultural fluency and adaptability in entrepreneurial success. The discussion reaffirmed my conviction that innovation thrives when we bridge ideas across cultures.

One key takeaway from the evening was the critical role of networks like Singapore Global Network (SGN). Particularly for those of us navigating careers far from home, such communities offer vital support, mentorship, and opportunities for collaboration.

今回のイベントを通じて改めて実感したのは、シンガポール・グローバル・ネットワーク（SGN）のようなネットワークの果たす意義の大きさです。特に、故郷から遠く離れた場所でキャリアを築く私たちにとって、こうしたコミュニティは、貴重なサポート、メンターシップ、そして協力の機会を提供してくれます。

Having Mr. Ho Koi Foong, SGN’s Regional Director for Northeast Asia, deliver the closing remarks was a full-circle moment—reminding me that even as we explore new horizons, our shared roots continue to provide strength and guidance.

シンガポール・グローバル・ネットワーク（SGN）の北東アジア地域ディレクターであるHo Koi Foong氏による閉会の挨拶は、まさに一つの円が完結したような瞬間でした。新たな地平を切り拓こうとする中でも、私たちの共通のルーツが、今もなお力と指針を与えてくれていることを、改めて実感する機会となりました。

I am deeply grateful to the SGN team represented at the event by Mr. Ho Koi Foong, our inspiring panelists, and every participant who contributed to such a meaningful evening. With 2024 well into its second half, I thought it would be an opportune moment to reflect upon and update on the past six months. It has been a period marked by thrilling developments, new challenges, and heartwarming moments that have significantly shaped both my journey and SeiRogai’s trajectory.

前回のブログからしばらく間が空いて季節もすっかり変わり、毎日蒸し暑い日が続いていますね。皆様お元気にお過ごしでしょうか。2024年も折り返しを迎えましたので、今回はこの半年間を振り返ってみたいと思います。この期間は、私自身とSeiRogaiに大きな影響を与えた、刺激的な発展、新たな挑戦、そして心温まる瞬間に満ちていました。

I’m still brimming with excitement from our participation at the Innovation Leaders Summit 2023 (ILS2023) held on December 4th last year, where we had the incredible honor of being selected as one of Tokyo’s “Top 15 Next Unicorn” companies.

昨年12月4日に開催されたイノベーションリーダーズサミット2023（ILS2023）にて、東京都が選抜するネクストユニコーン企業15社のうちの1社として、「スタートアップピッチ」に登壇させていただきました！

It was a privilege to represent SeiRogai to an impressive attendance of over 20,000 audience, including industry leaders and prospective partners.

Exploring the theme “Global Virtual Travel: Unlocking Boundless Adventures for Immersive Exploration”, we showcased how our cutting-edge VR technology is revolutionizing the travel experience.

業界リーダーや将来のパートナー企業を含む20,000人以上の参加者が集まる中、SeiRogaiの代表として参加させていただき、光栄に思います。

「Global Virtual Travel: 地域の魅力を最大限に引き出す新しい観光DXの形」と題して、最新のVRテクノロジーを利用したバーチャルツアーについてご紹介しました。

This was my first official presentation in Japanese, and although I was initially quite nervous, it was an incredible opportunity to share our ideas and recent progress with a broader audience. March was a month filled with immense pride and joy for our team! After months of dedication and hard work since August of last year, we were thrilled to unveil the culmination of our efforts – a breathtaking virtual tour of Gokayama (Ainokura and Suganuma), Nanto City.

3月は、私たちにとってとても感慨深い月になりました！昨年8月から取り組んできた、富山県南砺市のバーチャルツアーのプロジェクトがついに完成を迎えることができたからです。

On March 6th, we gathered at the Nanto City Hall to celebrate the completion of our virtual tour with a special launch event. I am overjoyed with the feedback from Mayor Tanaka about how the virtual tour was able to capture the essence of Gokayama, Nanto City’s hidden gems and enable people from around the world to discover its timeless charm.

3月6日には、完成を祝して南砺市役所にてお披露目会を行いました。

最新のVR技術を通じて南砺市の豊かな自然、伝統、文化、歴史をじっくりと楽しんでいただける新しい体験を提供できることを心から嬉しく思っています。

The premiere ceremony and press conference was well-received and featured in a variety of local media outlets, including newspapers and television!

お披露目会の様子は地元の新聞やテレビなど、多くのメディアでご紹介いただきました。

Moving forward, we’re committed to supporting the promotion of Nanto City through inbound tourism events, media campaigns, and the sale of local specialties. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.

Once again, March was a totally whirlwind full of milestones for me.

On March 31^st this year, I had the incredible opportunity to join as a panel speaker at the 30th Harvard Asia Business Conference in Boston!

The Harvard Asia Business Conference is a legacy event with a three-decade-long history of serving as a discussion platform for critical policies and trends shaping modern Asia. This year’s theme, “Asian Momentum: Breakthrough Success in Asia and Beyond,” perfectly captured the dynamic and transformative nature of the region.

3月31日、ボストンのハーバードビジネススクールで開催された第30回ハーバードアジアビジネスカンファレンスに、パネルスピーカーとして登壇しました！

ハーバードビジネススクールは30年にわたり、アジアを代表する起業家、専門家、政策立案者、オピニオンリーダーを招き、現代アジアを形成する政策やトレンドについて本質的な議論を行う重要な場です。今年のテーマは「アジアの勢い：アジアとその先の地域での画期的な成功」でした。

At the conference, I shared my insights on SeiRogai’s journey from ideation to execution at the Entrepreneurship Panel for contributions to driving innovation from Asia to the global stage. Drawing on my experience in the complex yet rewarding market of Japan, I highlighted the importance of digital transformation and cross-border partnerships in today’s entrepreneur landscape.

アントレプレナーシップ・パネルでは、SeiRogaiでの経験やアイデアから実行に至るプロセスを共有しました。特にデジタルトランスフォーメーションの重要性や国境を越えたパートナーシップの必要性についてお話ししました。

As a panelist, I had the privilege of engaging in thought-provoking discussions with over 300 participants from various fields. What made this experience even more special was the presence of many business school students among the audience, who were eager to learn from our discussion. Looking back, I believe that the forum was not just a platform for sharing SeiRogai’s story; it was a valuable opportunity to connect with and inspire the next generation of changemakers.

300人以上の参加者が集まり、進化するスタートアップの現状について熱くディスカッションできたことは、本当に貴重な経験でした。参加者にはビジネススクールの学生も多かったので、今回のプレゼンテーションが次世代を担う方々の活動のヒントになればとても嬉しいです。

直近のイベントとしては、5月17日から21日、東京都主催の「SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024」に出展しました！このイベントは、世界が直面する課題へ立ち向かうためのテクノロジーやアイデアが集まる場所です。

At the SeiRogai booth, we showcased our unique DX tourism platform, “Global Virtual Travel,” which utilizes the latest VR technology, along with our video streaming platform, “SeiRogaiTV.”

Reflections and Looking Forward

反省と期待

Half a year has swiftly passed, almost imperceptibly, as time often does when one is fully immersed in meaningful endeavors.

Reflecting on the past months, it has been a tumultuous yet exhilarating journey replete with challenges, triumphs, and invaluable lessons. It is indeed remarkable how much can transpire in such a brief period. Each experience, whether it presented smooth sailing or obstacles, has been a formative step, intricately shaping both my personal growth and the trajectory of SeiRogai.

As we advance toward the year’s conclusion, I am filled with a profound sense of introspection and eager anticipation. The achievements thus far have been commendable, yet they only serve as a prelude to the myriad possibilities that lie ahead. The remainder of the year presents itself as a blank canvas, awaiting to be imbued with novel adventures, groundbreaking ideas, and profound connections.

季節の移ろいを肌で感じながらカレンダーを見るとふと気づく時の流れの速さ…今年ももう残り半分ですね。

過去数ヶ月を振り返ると、挑戦や成功、貴重な学びに満ちた波乱の旅だったと感じています。この短い期間にこれほど多くの出来事があったことは本当に驚きです。スムーズに進んだ経験も、障害に直面した経験も、いずれも私の成長とSeiRogaiの歩みを形作る重要な一歩となりました。

年末に向かって進む中で、深い内省とともに大きな期待感を抱いています。これまでの成果は素晴らしいものでしたが、それは未来の無限の可能性への前奏に過ぎません。今年残りの時間は、革新的なアイデアや新しい冒険、深い繋がりを生み出すための真っ白なキャンバスです。
